ISO 14001 Training Levels
There are several levels of ISO 14001 training, including:
Level 1 ISO 14001 training – Awareness: The purpose of Awareness ISO 14001 training is to deliver an overview of the ISO 14001 Standard to managers and all employees of an organization so that they are aware of the process.
Level 2 ISO 14001 training – Internal Quality Auditor: Internal Quality Auditor ISO 14001 training is designed to qualify your employees so that they can give better service and ensure that the quality system is applied correctly. Internal auditors may also be able to assist firms with remedial action planning and corrective/preventive steps to strengthen the environmental management system.
Level 3 ISO 14001 training – Lead Auditor : The Lead Auditor ISO 14001 training course is the highest level of ISO 14001 training available. This course provides the necessary skills for doing third-party ISO audits in accordance with ISO 14001 standards.
Mode of Delivery for ISO 14001 Training
There are several ways ISO 14001 Training is conducted:
Classroom / In-House Training: In this type of ISO 14001 training, students are educated in a classroom setting. A competent course director leads a group of pupils through a formal learning environment. The training will include interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and real-life case studies. Organizations that want to conduct training in their own premises at set business hours may take advantage of the special In-House training program. Currently, ISO lead auditor training is offered through this mode of ISO 14001 training.
Virtual Classroom: This type of ISO 14001 training is meant to be completed from the comfort of one’s own home or place of business. Participants will have access to Zoom Meeting, which allows them to attend live training sessions via video conferencing remotely. All sessions will be tutor-led with interactive learning modules. Currently, ISO lead auditor training is offered through this mode of ISO 14001 training.
Self-Learning : Candidates who don’t have time to attend a full live session may benefit from this ISO 14001 training. Candidates will be able to use an online self-learning platform that will provide them with all of the study materials they will need. Candidates can finish ISO 14001 training by completing a set of learning modules at their leisure. Candidates will have access to the self-learning material for 30 days, after which they may take an examination to be awarded certification in ISO 14001 training. Currently, Awareness and Internal Quality Auditor training are offered through this mode of ISO 14001 training.
